radio advertising. Straightforward thought but not a hundred percent pragmatic because there are lots of cost related to developing branding concepts and then launching the drive. Low and behold they are working on consolidating their global bln buck advertising efforts with just one ad agency, vs 5 or 6. So if the ad agency does not do well, they get fired, but they also get paid their fee.

Most prize-winning radio commercials win for the incorrect reasons any way. Radio commercials should sell the advantages ( not features ) of your business / product and is going to be on the same page with print, Television and poster advertisement.

A significant issue in business advertising today is the absence of coordination of a campaign where all media are targeting the same message. Often , neither are trained at selling benefits. It’s your cash and you should not spend it on bungled and / or fully ineffectual commercials. I would venture to guess that in VW’s case it could be accountability. As easy as that sounds is as sophisticated it can be, but that leaves this subject open for discussion. One other thing.
